Meet our Management Team

King's Pre-School is a family run pre-school with a mother-daughter duo at the heart of it. We pride ourselves on being the stepping stone between home and school as we nurture our children and provide them with the skill they need to thrive at big school.

Owner/Manager

Kerry McGuirk

Kerry has over 17 years experience in the early years sector and is a very hands on manager. Kerry holds a level 5 early years degree and is paediatric first aid trained. Kerry is the Designated Safeguard lead here at King's.

Deputy Manager

Ellie McGuirk

Ellie has worked at King's for around 6 years, whilst covering a member of staff on maternity leave, she changed her career path to education, when she fell in love with teaching. Ellie holds a BA honours in Education Studies and is currently completing her Early Years initial teacher training. Ellie is a DDSL and holds relevant paediatric first aid training as well as being a licensed Thrive practitioner.

Room Leader Tot's

Jasmine

Jasmine started her career in childcare 13 years ago as a student at King's. Jasmine completed her studies all the way up to her BA hons in Early Years education. She has worked at various pre-schools gaining experience and knowledge. In 2022 she welcomed a gorgeous baby boy. Jasmine wanted to find a job better suited to her young family and was over the moon to receive a job opportunity as the new Tot's room leader.

Room Leader Big's

Lucie

Lucie has progressed through to management during her time at Kings, she is passionate and hardworking and is excited for her new venture as room leader. Lucie is a DDSL and holds relevant level 3 qualification and paediatric first aid.

Administrative Manager

Denise

Denise has been a member of King's since it was originally opened. She is the glue which holds our team together. Denise organises all financial and administration jobs.
